As we reach the end of a very busy and fulfilling term, we want to take a moment to reflect on everything that has taken place across our Trust. It has been wonderful to welcome two new Head Teachers into our community. Both are settling in well, already making a positive impact, and we look forward to supporting them as they continue to embed themselves within their school teams.
Across our 12 schools, the term has been filled with activity, energy and celebration. From the joy of Nativity performances to the success of Christmas fairs, our pupils and staff have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm. Children have taken part in trips all over Cumbria—from train journeys to Carlisle, walks around local communities, and visits to theatres and farms—bringing learning to life beyond the classroom.
We would like to extend our thanks to all staff for their continued dedication and commitment, and to our families and wider communities for their ongoing support. It is your hard work and collaboration that enable our schools to thrive.
End of Term Prayer:
Dear God, Thank you for all the fun and excitement of Christmas. Thank you for the amazing nativity story, that tells us about the birth of Jesus. Thank you for sending us your Son, a gift from you into this world. As we look at the lights on the tree, remind us of the light Jesus brought to this Earth. When we sing songs and carols, remind us of the hope Jesus showed everyone. And as we open the gifts and presents, remind us that Jesus was the best gift ever. Help us to share special times with family and friends this Christmas, And to share the light, hope and gift of Jesus to the world. Amen.
We wish everyone a restful and enjoyable break and look forward to another successful term ahead.
